ANIMALS!!!! Horses, horseback riding, the arts (drawing, photography, playing flute)...

By accident. Long story short, I asked a question out of curiousity and a few months later ended up with a Mini Lop named Melody....2 years later I have 3 of the little fuzz-balls!

Bought Jazz from an EXCELLENT breeder (www.geocities.com/jordanrabbitry)

Jazz gives me sad bunny eyes to get me to take him out of his cage. Works everytime. lol. He also likes to lick my jeans at my knees for some reason. It tickles. hehe.

Rolled Oats, parsely

"Lovelinks" keys I made and his plastic baseball

3. When and How did you acquire your bun? adopt?
Newest one of the bunch. She was a rescue from a petting zoo. Her nails were grossly overgrown, her cage was FILTHY, and the kids who would go and pet the rabbits didn't always know how to properly handle them. I'm sure she'd been roughly handled, maybe even picked up by her ears once. She's kind of shy, but she's quickly coming around.

4. Name 3 things that your bun does to make you smile.
She prances back and forth in her cage when I'm in the room because she wants to come out with me. When I let her out, she'll come out and lay down with me almost right away. And she's flopped in my arms a few times. :-)

She really likes romaine lettuce.

6. What is your bun(s) favorite toy?
She didn't have any toys at the petting zoo, so everything she plays with is new and interesting to her.

Bought Noel from a pet store (shame, shame...)

Noel comes to the side of her pen every morning for her "morning time pets." And when she's out on my bed, she likes to streeeeeeeetch and push the blankets around, lol. She'll really stretch out her front paws when she does it -- it's adorable.

UPDATE: I just want to add about Melody. She now lives with Ann (snowbunny) and is being spoiled way more than she was here. She has her own bedroom and might even be getting a buddy!! I'll never forget my Melody girl and I love her with all my heart even though she no longer lives here. Thanks Ann for being so kind and giving her a wonderful home.
