About My Bunny

1. What is your bun's breed?
Definately some kind of English Spot Mix.

2. How did your bun get its name?
Astrid was named for Queen Astrid of Belgium whose first name was Astrid. Finkelstein came from one of my favorite show's "Dharma & Greg", Dharma Finkelstein...Dharma didn't fit so i just took the latter.

3. How old is your bun(s)?
About 1 year

4. When and How did you acquire your bun? adopt?
I found Astrid in a cage outside a friends apartment building, January 19 2004. I'm a huge animal advocate but i'd never even pet a bunny before. I asked my friend if he knew anything about her and he said it was a neighbors but they no longer wanted her. She had no food or water and her cage was really gross. So i took her home and got a crash course in Bunnies.

5. Name 3 things that your bun does to make you smile.
I love when Astrid flops over on her side or back with her little feet in the air. She's does it all the time. I also love when she does her little "baby binkies" which isn't often. It's also fun to play tossing games with her, she loves to throw her toys around.

6. What is your bun(s) favorite food?
Astrid adores Bok Choy and Bannana

7. What is your bun(s) favorite toy?
Astrid loves her little rings, her baskets and her measuring cup (which she stole i might add)

I was told he's some kind of Silver Marten mix(?)

2. How did your bun get its name?
When thinking of names Jack came up right away. It just fits him very well. He's handsome and distinguished and some of my favorite guys are named Jack, (Jack Kerouac,Jack Nicholson,Captain Jack Sparrow) Shadow because of the fact that he follows us around the house. After we had those two names it seemed like he needed a prefix so...his other notable trait is his limitless curiosity.

4 months, he was born April 1 2004

4. When and How did you acquire your bun? adopt?
Jack was born at the Baldwin Park Shelter (Los Angeles Ca) His mother had a huge litter. A wonderful rescuer here in LA found the bunnies foster homes. She was faced with a problem when one of the foster people was moving and she had to find a home for Jack and his sister. We set up a date with Jack and Astrid and it went amazingly so brought him home.

5. Name 3 things that your bun does to make you smile.
Jack is so comfortable he'll just plop down in the middle of the floor. He's always in a main pathway but it doesn't seem to bother him that we have to step over him. Jack's binkies are great. He runs top speed around the house and does this 3 foot jumps in the air. very cute. I also love how Jack will just walk all over us. Astrid is the opposite and only hangs out with us from afar.

Jack's just a baby so he hasn't begun to experiance the world of tasty food that awaits.

He hasn't really been interested in toys yet.
