animals, tennis, rock climbing, downhill skiing, pretty much anything outdoors any season

7. How did you get the bunny bug?
When I was researching a good apartment pet while I was living in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, I stumbled across the idea of a bunny. After lots of online research I decided that it was the perfect pet for me.

Mini Lop

2. How old is your bun(s)?
1 year (birthday: July 14, 2002)

2. How did your bun get his/her name?
Pita was given her name by her previous owners who dumped her at the local shelter. I thought it was Pita as in Pita Pocket so I kept the name thinking it was cute and suited her well. I later found out it was P.I.T.A or Pain In The A**. Poor Pita Buns!

3. When and How did you acquire your bun? adopt?
I met Pita at the Ottawa Humane Society. Even though I wasn't looking for a bunny at the time it was love at first sight. However, I wasn't able to adopt her due to financial reasons but when I went back a month later to see their bunnies ready to adopt she was still there. Needless to say I brought her home without a second thought. That was July 14, 2002 (I set her birthday as the same day because she wasn't given a birthday at the shelter).

4. Name 3 things that your bun does to make you smile.
Her binkies and bunny 500's, her excitement for dinner/breakfast, and how she melts into the floor when I pet her.

5. What is your bun(s) favorite food?
Oats, Cilantro, and bananas

6. What is your bun(s) favorite toy?
Anything she can tear apart. She LOVES her cardboard Cottontail Cottage.
