I named her kia after: ke kia`i ola which means lifeguard in Hawaiian.
I held her in my hand when she was an hour old and I watched her grow fuzz and open her eyes.
She was always so content with where she was and what she was doing. If the other babies wanted to go play she would be happy just sitting on my lap and giving kisses, even when she was only 2 weeks old.
